Our extremely busy Law Firm is seeking an experienced consumer Bankruptcy Attorney to join the team. Must be admitted to the Eastern District and hopefully the Southern District as well. We are looking for someone with a specialty of sometimes out-of-the-box problem-solving skills. We are a very fast-paced firm with a great atmosphere and collaborative team. As a Bankruptcy Attorney, you will be responsible for regular client contact and follow-up. This is a full-time in-office position located in Melville, New York. Responsibilities:

• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a very busy environment
• Writing Motions
• Corresponding with clients, attorneys, and the Courts via phone and email
• Maintain client files
• Court Appearance as necessary

Qualifications:

• New York State Bar License
• Admitted to EDNY
• 1 - 3 years of Consumer Bankruptcy Experience
• Proficiency with PACER
• Comfortable with drafting and filing legal documents
• Answering client inquiries
• Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
