Attorney – Experienced Litigation Associate
Giordano, Glaws & Fenstermacher, LLP is a full-service defense litigation firm that represents major corporations, business enterprises, institutions, and insureds throughout New York State.
We are seeking an Experienced Litigation Associate with 4 to 10 years of experience in insurance and civil defense litigation. Candidate must be experienced in handling matters from inception through conclusion in the areas of general liability defense, premises liability, construction accidents, Child Victims Act cases, Labor Law, slip/trip falls, and auto/municipal transportation liability.

Requirements include 4-10 years of civil defense litigation experience, a JD from an accredited law school, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery demands/responses, conducting and defending depositions, court appearances and verbal and written communication with clients. Trial experience is preferred. The candidate will be proactive and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal skills and knowledge of New York State and federal court rules are required. Must be licensed to practice in New York State and admitted to SDNY and EDNY. New Jersey Admission is a plus.
Also required is familiarity with MS Teams, Zoom and other video conferencing platforms to participate in depositions, court appearances and meetings.
The position offers a benefits package including health insurance and a 401K plan. Salary is minimum of $120,000.00 and higher, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and proven quality of work, Salary requirements should be forwarded along with your cover letter and resume.
