Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves the assembly of electrical control panels according to customer orders and ensuring their functionality through testing. The ideal candidate will have strong documentation knowledge and a focus on quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control panels per customer orders.
• Wire panels and wire devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, and transmitters.
• Maintain U.L. and other quality control files.
• Layout components in various size cabinets.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Possibly assume a lead role on customer projects.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in control panel assembly and wiring.
• Experience with electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to use hand tools for drilling and tapping.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in control panel building.
• High School Education, Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ladder logic schematics.
• Quality Assurance experience is essential.
• IPC certification and training is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean and organized environment, practicing lean manufacturing principles. You will initially manage a team of five within a group of ten people, with the potential to eventually lead the entire team. This role offers the chance to take on leadership responsibilities in a growing company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
