Assembly Technician 

$16 - $20 an hour

1st Shift (Mon-Thurs)

Bloomington, IN

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer in the Franklin, IN area who is looking to hire on their Machine Operator team! They are looking for candidates who have experience in manufacturing, able to read blueprints, quality inspections, and using quality tools.

Responsibilities:

 

• Processing of components using various riveters, sanders, drill presses, etc.
• Ability to set-up and run production with minimal supervision.
• Ensure quality of work and adhere to quality processes.
• Cross-train at different workstations as production needs require, following prescribed safety and quality requirements while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Use inspection tools to ensure accuracy of measurements. (e.g., calipers, micrometers, chamfer check, push-out gages, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work through difficult tasks
• Read, comprehend, and follow product specifications, manufacturing instructions and drawings
• Count and make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions

 

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
