Job Description

• Analyze all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Process purchase order and non-purchase order invoices
• Prioritize invoices according to discount potential and payment terms
• Participate in weekly check runs
• Audit and process credit card receipts
• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
• Respond to all vendor inquiries
• Maintenance of master file of assigned vendors (ensure W9 information, 1099 classifications, contact information, payment terms/methods are current,)
• Assist in month end closing; identify and submit monthly accruals
• Assist with other projects as needed
• Work with internal management to resolve issues

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of recent experience in Accounts Payable
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Ability to work independently but team oriented with an emphasis on meeting department deadlines
• Has the ability work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
• Knowledge of excel (v-lookup and pivot tables)
• Self-motivated with a mindset of completeness
• Proven knowledge of the accounting principles

Preferred:

• Sage Intaact experience
