Our headquarters are located in San Francisco and we have additional offices in Knoxville, TN and New York City with employees working remotely in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, MN, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT , VA, WA, Washington, D.C. *Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.* Position Overview: As an account director on the commercial services and operations team, you will work on building irreplaceable relationships with customers to enable the smooth and efficient running of their experience on a daily basis. This role requires a sharp analytical mind, client management and organizational skills, resourcefulness, and a passion for addressing challenging problems with commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop relationships with large life science customers; retain and exceed customer expectations.
- Lead implementation of complex RWE studies and DaaS data linkage programs
- Lead annual renewal process and targeted relationship-based upsell efforts
- Understand how customers interact with Verana Health products and identify their needs, challenges and ideas
- Design, implement and document strategies to drive customer engagement
- This is a highly cross-functional role, focused on working with customers as well as other internal teams, including Commercial Services, Quantitative Sciences, Product, Sales and Finance
- Ultimately, the Account Director are responsible for advocating for customers and working to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
Basic Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Public Relations or similar field.
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare consulting or account management roles.
- 4+ years of experience in a Real World Evidence/Data or a Consulting Background
- You're a data driven problem solver who excels in written and verbal communication, relationship-building, prioritization, and project management
- You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day.
- You have the ability to solve problems in a resourceful and data-driven manner while working in a fast-paced, demanding start-up environment
- You have the ability to effectively identify what's important and effectively prioritize competing projects
- You have excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills
- Expert in influencing internal and external stakeholders to quickly solve problems and deliver results

We pay based on a market-based approach, supported with robust data and in alignment with the compensation of our existing team. We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area. In determining an offer, base salary will also be based on experience, qualifications, skills and market conditions.

$128,000-$160,000 USD
