Job Description
This position is on the 2nd shift Must be able to work this schedule 3:30p-12am Mon-Friday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Required to understand and lead in the areas of food processing, food safety, plant
sanitation and food quality.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and food quality standards, (SSOPs’, GMPs’, SOPs’.)
• Familiar with HACCP
• Support the safe handling of chemicals, use of proper protective equipment, MSDS and
Right to Know information including what to do in a chemical emergency.
• Assist in Inspecting cleaning in plant and approving readiness for sanitizer application.
• Follow prescribed OSHA safety precautions, established company and department policies,
procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and
questionable conditions to Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed.
